We wanted to take a minute to thank you both for doing such a wonderful job on our Estate Sale in Clear Lake, IA over Labor Day Weekend. Once we decided that we needed professionals to take care of selling the belongings in our parents’ house, we were at a loss for who would do the best job. None of the companies we talked with seemed to be the right fit for our situation. We wanted more than a “Glorified Garage Sale”.
Then we found Midwest Estate Sales. From the initial meeting with the two of you, our concerns were put to rest and it was obvious you knew what you were doing. The amount of time you put into getting to know our story, looking through the house and researching items was simply amazing.
Your attention to detail, your sorting and organizing of two generations of belongings and how you staged all the belongings was absolutely fantastic. The final sales showed that all your little extras in the preparation for the sale made a world of difference.
But more than anything else, the things that stood out to us were that you both, along with your crew, were trustworthy and always transparent. You were upfront and honest with us from beginning to end! If you felt something was more or less valuable than we thought, you would research that particular item. We would have never thought that little piece of pottery was actually an authentic Picasso! Some companies might not have taken the time to look into it, or if they had, might not have passed that information onto us. We wouldn’t have been the wiser. But you went the extra mile, using outside experts to help with the research and then your extra effort in searching for a buyer.
